Many modern brides today have ditched the tradition of a veil and opted for wearing another type of head dress instead. From flower crowns to jewelled hair vines, there are many veil alternatives that will have you feeling like ‘A Bride’ on your special day.
Here are some of my ideas for alternatives to the veil:
Fascinator – a fascinator is formal headwear worn as an alternative to a hat, it is usually a large decorative design attached to a band or clip.
Wedding hat – there are many different styles of hats for you to wear on your wedding day, but our favourite is the Pillbox.
Floral crown – floral crowns give you the flexibility to go as over the top or as simple as you wish – from oversized flowers to simple greenery or miniature roses. Create unique crowns for your bridesmaids and flower girls too.
Headband – perfect for brides with short hair or for brides with a side parting, the use of diamantes and or/pearls gives the wow factor
Hair vine – so versatile, you can wear the hair vine however you want, including with a veil. Wear it as a headband, as a crown, as a halo, on the side of your head, draped through your hair – the opportunities are endless. And a top tip – the hair vine can be worn as a belt around your waist to add some extra detail to your dress!
Which is your favourite bridal hair accessory?
