There are no rules when it comes to choosing your wedding day colours, and if pastels aren’t your thing go for bright, bold and beautiful. Fuchsia pink and poppy red are not an obvious colour pairing but the two work so well together, and with a wide choice of flowers available no matter the season, you don’t just have to keep this palette for your Spring or Summer I do’s!
If over the top isn’t your thing, pops of colour across some elements of your day maintain a modern and elegant style. My favourite way to incorporate these colours is through the florals – brightly coloured peonies and roses with touches of blush and soft pink for that feminine touch. From the bridal bouquet to a statement installation, this colour combination with certainly wow your guests.
There is so much inspiration out there for this colour palette and choosing only a few ideas to incorporate into this inspiration board was a challenge! Here are some of my favourite ideas that really tie the colour theme together, the abundance of flowers on the invitations, through to the centrepieces doesn’t just add pops of colour but also an underlying floral theme. The detail on the cake with the shading and hot pink and gold accents still keeps it modern and stylish, without being over the top and garish.
