With the arrival of blossom on the trees and the magnolia starting to bloom, Spring is certainly on its way. I find blossom such a mood-lifting flower and it’s a fantastic starting point for a wedding theme, whatever season you’re marrying in.
Soft pink is a classic choice for weddings and I don’t think it’s going anywhere, with good reason. It can be combined with so many different colours and shades to create different styles, but it always lends a touch of romance and softness. If you look to blossom trees for inspiration, a colour palette of soft pinks, blush, with a touch of spring green will give your day a fresh feel that avoids being too girly.
Blossoms are also a pretty motif that can be used throughout your wedding, adding a lovely detail to luxe stationery and table plans. You could even pick up the floral detail in hair accessories for your bridesmaids, there are endless ways to use this motif in your wedding, creating a day truly personal to you.
Blossoms are a great example of how you can take a single detail and build an entire wedding theme from it. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the choices around, why not try simplifying things? Pick something you love – a flower or pattern for example – and see what colours and details can inspire you from there.
