Erin and Alex meticulously planned their dream wedding at beautiful Morden Hall in South London. To ensure they could be completely present on the day, and avoid wedding day stress, they enlisted my help to manage their wedding day.
Working together in the final few weeks, we worked closely to bring all the intricate details of their wedding day together, allowing them the opportunity to enjoy the lead up and all the excitement that brings.
Their wedding was an international affair, with guests flying in from Erin’s native Canada and joining guests from across the UK. For many, it marked the first time they had reunited since the pandemic began.
Their outdoor ceremony took place on the North Lawn, between the back drops of the River Wandle, and the quintessentially 18th century English country house. Combining elegance, charm, and sophistication, it was the ideal setting for their beautiful Summer wedding.
The focal point of their ceremony was a frame arch draped with floating fabric and fresh seasonal flowers. The ceremony table was adorned with an abundant floral arrangement that was repurposed for their sweetheart table for the wedding breakfast. The ceremony arch was also moved to frame their table after the ceremony.
As guests mingled on the lawns, sipping drinks and enjoying canapés, a string quartet provided a melodic backdrop.
Erin and Alex envisioned a wedding that blended modernity with timeless romance. Their chosen colour palette of blush pink, peach, grey, and cream encapsulated the natural beauty of the surroundings.
In the Mulberry dining area, round tables dressed in pink and blush linens and elegant tableware awaited the guests. Low centrepieces, brimming with flowers, exuded sophistication, while blush candles added a touch of intimacy. Each place setting included packets of the couple’s favourite sweets – a thoughtful gesture and personal touch for their guests.
Erin and Alex chose a sumptuous three-tier cake adorned with fresh blooms, and after the wedding breakfast, the frame arch was moved to accent the cake table.
As twilight descended, guests gathered in the Willow area, where the band set the mood for an unforgettable evening. Erin and Alex made a grand entrance via the sweeping staircase, sharing their first dance as husband and wife. The festivities continued late into the night, complete with a delicious snack of bacon sandwiches.
Erin and Alex’s wedding embodied elegance, romance, and joy. It was an honour to be part of their supplier dream team, contributing to a day they and their guests will cherish forever.
